Finally I have managed to get to the Città del Gusto in Rome, where today the Foodies 2014 Guide is being presented. I’d always wanted to get into the temple of the Gambero Rosso and, once there, I immediately felt at home. On the second floor a large window allows you to see the students of the cooking school during the lessons, I would have liked to be there with them.
The presentation of Foodies 2014 took place at the Teatro della Cucina del Gambero Rosso. What makes this guide special is that it isn’t based on votes or lists, but on the passion for food expressed in a variety of ways in our restaurants and food outlets.
The guide offers over 40 new itineraries for the over 40 activities that have been assigned a Foodie Star.
A jury of experts also announced the 8 winners of the Foodies 2014 prize, here are the names:

Among the winners and those awarded a star I noticed lots of places in seaside towns, I'm going to visit them with relish.
