A tasty holiday





I'm almost at the end of my stay in the Maldives and I can say that my expectations have been exceeded: beautiful sea, endless white beaches, unspoiled nature.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from the culinary point of view, you know how much I care .. but, in fact, I have eaten very well. It’s all thanks to the chef Pino Bianco, Calabrian by birth and Sicilian by adoption, who prepares traditional Italian dishes every day, to which he adds a touch of the exotic with some local dishes. 
He came to the Maldives for the first time in 1989, today the chef at Palm Beach Resort & SpA is in charge of its talented staff of over 15 employees.

In the rich buffet there is always a wide selection of cured meats from Italy.

The pasta is prepared and served personally by the chef, like this dish of spaghetti with red snapper and cherry tomatoes, that I ate today.

One evening a week is devoted to Indian and Maldive specialties such as tandoori chicken and fish.

The desserts created by a Sicilian pastry chef are delicious. 

I’m starving, here it is almost time for dinner .. I'm going to see what the chef Pino Bianco has prepared for us tonight!
